Through our Web Application Data Services course, study such database concepts as understanding entities, database normalization, creating tables and writing stored procedures to insert, update and delete data. Learn to use ADO.NET to read and write data from a wide variety of data sources. Also learn how to bind data to web controls and how to create a data class layer to interact with a database.
This is an online course, and registration is offered through continuous intake (meaning registration is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year). Register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to start the course (keeping in mind that you will receive your course details approximately a week after you register). You have 120 calendar days from the day you receive the course details to complete the course. Please ensure you are familiar with the basic technology requirements for online courses. You will also be required to provide your own Visual Web Developer software (which can be downloaded free from the Internet).
You must have completed our COMP 9572 Web Application Development and Design course or an approved equivalent.
