Courses

The CompTIA A+ certification is a well-known entry level certification on the path to a career in help desk or networking. In fact, in many companies, A+ certification (or similar) is a requirement for employment. Our A+ Certification Hardware (220-901) course covers all four domains within the 220-901 exam (hardware and peripherals, mobile device hardware, networking and troubleshooting hardware, and network connectivity issues) and can be used as part of your study material for the CompTIA A+ certification exam of the same name.

This is an online course, and registration is offered through continuous intake (meaning registration is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year). Register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to start the course (keeping in mind that you will receive your course details approximately a week after you register). You have 120 calendar days from the day you receive the course details to complete the course. Please ensure you are familiar with the basic technology requirements for online courses.

PREREQUISITE(S)

You must have intermediate skills with (or knowledge of) Microsoft Windows.

Master the effective telephone techniques needed to manage customer relations by exploring how customers behave and what they expect. Through our Telephone Communication course, learn how to listen to customers, clarify their goals and objectives and effectively gauge their wants and needs. Also learn good customer service techniques, telephone courtesy and professional call-centre practices. This communication skills course is ideal for those working in customer service or customer support settings, including front office reception or information technology (IT) help desk roles.

Computer networks are the backbone of most companies today. Our Network+ course provides you with an understanding of the seven-layer network model as well as how to use this model to set up a network within a small corporate environment. Learn how to set up switches, routers and encryption devices and how to better use hardware through virtualization.
