Network Security Fundamentals Certificate

Most modern offices incorporate Cisco switched networks. With our Network Security Fundamentals Certificate, learn to set up and troubleshoot a small office network and to set up and maintain virtual LANs in a modern network environment. Develop an understanding of point-to-point connections and frame relay.

NOTE(S)

The training provided by this certificate helps prepare you to write two Cisco exams: 100-101 ICND1 and 200-101 ICND2.

Courses

Our Routing and Switching I course explains the different types of network topologies as well as the devices used in modern networks. Explore the conceptual Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model to discover what happens at each layer of the network. This course is extremely valuable for those whose career goal is to enter or expand their present career in networking.

As the continuation of our COMP 9529 (Routing and Switching I) course, our Routing and Switching II course teaches you to configure and troubleshoot medium-sized switched networks. Explore the concepts of Internet Protocol (IP) addressing and subnetting, and learn how to use network address translation (NAT) to improve network security.
