NURS 1114 Scholarly Writing in Nursing ONLINE

Our Scholarly Writing in Nursing course focuses on the skills and strategies necessary for articulating concepts and ideas in a logical and scholarly manner, for analyzing research literature and for applying American Psychological Association (APA) format and style rules for citing and quoting materials. Develop the information literacy skills you need to locate, analyze and apply information using a variety of library techniques and resources. Scholarly Writing in Nursing emphasizes critical reading, critical thinking, academic research, argumentation and writing style as well as the stages of the writing process.

This is an online course. Please ensure you are familiar with the basic technology requirements for online courses.

PREREQUISITE(S)

You must complete this course during your first semester of study in the Academic Pathway for Internationally Educated Nurses (IEN) Graduate Certificate .
